Consumer advocates are calling for the new federal government consumer credit laws to allow for a review of credit card contracts and changes to card contracts after they have been signed.Citibank BP credit card holders recently received a letter from the bank announcing 'fresh new' changes to the card. The card did feature a 5 per cent rebate on any purchase made at BP and 1 per cent on purchases made elsewhere. The rebate for purchases anywhere other than BP outlets has been halved to 0.5 per cent and there is no longer any cash-back rebate at fuel outlets other than BP service stations.
