GE Money has raised the monthly account keeping fees it charges customers using its interest free credit products. The $2.95 monthly charge on shop credit cards including Harvey Norman, Retravision and The Good Guys cards has been raised to $3.95 from last Wednesday. There is also a $25 application fee. Harvey Norman have introduced a four year interest free deal for purchases made with a ten per cent deposit. Harvey Norman's profits have fallen 43 per cent as sales and earnings slow.
