Melbourne house prices rising $766/day 25 January 2010 |

| The median house price in Melbourne climbed $766 per day over the last three months, or 15 per cent, to $540,500.The outstanding performers over the last quarter were houses in Newtown, in Geelong, where house prices rose 43.8 per cent, or $160,000 to $525,000.Other areas to outperform the norm were Burwword, Ringwood, Shepparto, Mt Evelyn, Brunswick, Lilydale and Bentleigh. |
