NAB declares mortgage war on Westpac 4 December 2009 |
| |
| NAB has established a significant difference in home loan mortgage rates between big banks for the first time in living memory. There is now more than a quarter of one per cent difference in rates between Westpac’s standard variable mortgage rate and NAB’s.NAB personal banking executive Lisa Gray says there hasn’t been a gap this wide between big bank mortgage rates in decades, if ever. “It would be decades ago if there ever was such a big difference,” said Gray.“I call on Westpac customers who are not happy with their actions earlier this week to have a look at NAB, because we can offer them a better deal.” |
