Commonwealth Bank customers caught up in an online banking system error will not be charged fees or interest caused by the problem. Two hundred thousand Commonwealth Bank customers who made NetBank transactions between Saturday and Monday lost money or money was lost in the transfer process. One customer reported that $17,000 was lost from his account. The bank was rushing to fix the problem and reimburse customers said Commbank spokesperson Steve Batten. "Any customer impacted by this and who are seeking immediate cash should visit one of our branches," said Batten.
