ANZ Bank will issue more than 50,000 Visa prepaid cards to university students in Sydney. Students can load funds on to the cards to pay for services such as photocopying or to buy textbooks.Reloading is free on campus but costs 50c using BPAY. Cash can be withdrawn without a fee at ANZ ATMs, but fees may be charged at other ATMs. The cards also double as student identification, manage building access and can buy services on campus, University of Sydney education deputy vice-chancellor Derrick Armstrong said.
